Selling made to measure? The price should add itself up.
Running metres, conditional questions, exclusions and a quote instead of a cart. The customer builds the product and sees the figure at every choice. You set the options and surcharges in the panel, with no coding and no more emails asking what it will cost.
Types, dimensions, extras and surcharges are yours to edit. No agency ticket every time the price list moves.
Metres, area and units calculated from a formula, and one item's quantity can depend on another.
A small configuration goes straight to checkout; a large one becomes a quote request. Same product page.

configurator · level 2 of 2A made-to-measure fence: panel type, length, height, infill that depends on the panel, gates with their own dimensions, an installation date. With every click the customer sees their fence and the price. They never need to know a formula is running underneath.

Posts place themselves on the drawing: every 2.5 m, plus one to close the run.
This question appeared only after 3D panel was chosen. Sheet infill is ruled out for that type. The customer cannot click it, so nobody has to break the news later.
Gate metres are subtracted from the run of panels. Otherwise the customer would pay twice for the same stretch.
One click fewer: the drawing loses the strip and the price drops by 663 zł. The customer sees the consequence before making the decision.
- Dependent questions
- A question appears only after a particular answer above it. Four steps instead of thirty fields.
- Exclusions
- Combinations you do not manufacture are struck through right where the choice is made.
- Price from a formula
- Metres, area and units are calculated server-side; the quantity of one item can depend on another.
- Basket or quote
- On large orders the customer asks for a quote instead of buying straight away.
The sofa bed and the fence are the same mechanism. The difference is how much of it you use.
The amounts and options in both previews are illustrative. They show the mechanism, not any particular manufacturer's price list.
