What Shopify reallycosts in Poland.Let's do the maths.

Shopify looks like the simplest choice in the world, and in many ways it is. In Poland, however, the bill has three layers instead of one, and the last one is often the dearest.

Every figure below comes from Shopify's pricing and help pages and from the price list of the tool Poland uses to connect Allegro. We checked them on 4 September 2026. Price lists change, so if you are reading this later, look at the sources under the text.

Layer one: the subscription

The Basic plan costs 109 zł a month, or 79 zł if you pay yearly. Grow is 319 zł or 239 zł yearly, Advanced 1,630 zł or 1,220 zł yearly. Plus starts at 2,100 € a month. Over a year, paid annually, Basic comes to 948 zł and Advanced to 14,640 zł, and this is the only layer the advertising shows.

Layer two: a fee on every sale

If you do not use Shopify Payments, Shopify adds a fee to every transaction: 2% on Basic, 1% on Grow, 0.6% on Advanced and 0.2% on Plus. That is a charge to Shopify, entirely separate from whatever your payment provider takes anyway.

Put a real turnover behind it. A shop doing 50,000 zł a month on Basic hands over 1,000 zł a month on that count alone, more than ten times the subscription itself. Using Shopify Payments removes that fee, but then you pay Shopify for card processing: from 1.95% plus 1.20 zł per transaction on Basic, 1.8% on Grow and 1.65% on Advanced. Either way a percentage of sales stays in the bill; only its name changes.

Layer three: the Polish market

This is where it gets expensive, because Shopify has none of what Polish e-commerce runs on built in. Allegro, Erli and the WAPRO Mag warehouse integration live outside the platform, in third-party tools. The most popular of them, base.com, until recently BaseLinker, is free up to 100 orders a month, and above that costs 279 zł net a month plus 0.99 zł per order on the Business plan. At 300 orders that is 576 zł a month, added on top of everything above.

The second thing larger companies miss: several brands in one organisation panel only arrive with the Plus plan, from 2,100 € a month. On lower plans every shop is a separate subscription and a separate login. Fairly, on the other side: Shopify Magic, the AI for descriptions, is included in the plan, and the checkout has been polished for years in a way you can see in the conversion rate.

The same bill in Torveo

Our bill has one layer instead of three: a subscription in which Allegro and Erli are there from the Start plan, the WAPRO Mag integration connects straight to the warehouse database with no external integrator, and we take no commission on sales at all. You settle payments directly with the provider, with no margin from us. Current plan prices are on the pricing page. If you sell mostly abroad and need neither Polish marketplaces nor a Polish ERP, that third layer does not apply to you and Shopify will be a very good choice. The same goes for every ERP, not only WAPRO Mag: we connect Streamsoft Prestiż and Subiekt nexo the same way, straight from the database, and we quote each implementation individually, after reviewing the installation.

The conclusion is not that Shopify is expensive. It is that in Poland Shopify rarely costs what its price list shows, because you buy the Polish part of the shop elsewhere. Add all three layers together before you compare one subscription with another.
